Fancy Some Asian Salad?

Seaweed salad is a traditional Asian dish. This unusual salad is packed full of vitamins and minerals. Seaweed assists you to shed fat, while ginger helps to your digestive system and garlic provides benefits to your immune system.


What you need:

  • 30g dried seaweed

  • 1 teaspoon of dried red chilli flakes

  • 1 teaspoon rice with vinegar

  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce

  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil

  • salt to taste

  • 1 teaspoon honey or sugar

  • 1/2 teaspoon white sesame seeds

  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic or ginger

How to make it:

  1. Heat up a pot of water and bring it to boil.

  2. Boil the dried seaweed for about 3 minutes or until they turn soft.

  3. Drain the water and squeeze the excess water out of the seaweed. Set aside and let cool.

  4. Add all seasonings and ingredients into the seaweed and toss well.

  5. Chill in the fridge and serve cold.
