Ingredients (serves 1 adult):

1 pack of Korean instant noodels with power packet included / one chili pepper / 1/2 stalk of spring onion / 1 handful of green bean sprouts / 2/3 cup of water / egg

Preparation:

  1. Rinse the green bean sprouts.

  2. Take the seeds out from the chili, then diagonally cut the chili and spring onion.

Cooking:

  1. Put water and green bean sprouts into a pot.

  2. Cover pot and bring contents to a boil.

  3. At the boiling point, add the power sauce and noodles.

  4. Boil again for about 2-3 minutes – slightly undercooked noodles are preferable.

  5. Add the chili, egg and spring onion 30 seconds before you serve the dish.

  6. Enjoy this easy favourite with a side of kimchi.
